1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Dallas Reel Deal processes related to:
- Users of our websites where this Policy is posted (including dallasreeldeal.com and related Dallas Clippers pages), hosted applications, dashboards, and services that display or link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”);
- Current, former, and prospective clients, businesses, and campaign sponsors who purchase or request services, or communicate with us for support;
- Current, former, and prospective creators, clippers, influencer-clippers, and other community members who register, apply, submit content, join campaigns, or use community features;
- Individuals who register for or participate in contests, promotions, polls (including Best of Dallas), webinars, live Q&A events, surveys, research, or programs we run;
- Individuals subscribed to news, updates, or marketing communications from us; and
- Individuals who otherwise communicate or interact with us about our Services.
Not in scope. This Policy does not apply to job applicants through a separate employment portal (if any), or to employees / contractors whose information is covered by separate employment notices.
Your use of the Services, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy and our Terms of Service, including applicable limitations on damages and dispute resolution. Our Terms are incorporated by reference into this Policy.
2. Personal Information Collection (Notice of Collection)
This section is our notice at collection for California residents (CCPA/CPRA) and a plain-English summary for all visitors of the categories we may collect.
We collect information directly from you, from third parties, and by automated means.
A. Personal Information Collected Directly
What we collect depends on how you interact with us, and generally includes:
- Registration and account information. Name, username/display name, email, phone number, profile photo, social handles (e.g., Instagram, TikTok), role/type (creator, clipper, influencer-clipper, business, client), account preferences, and related profile fields.
- Communications and interactions. Contact details, messages, chat logs (including support and community chat), onboarding responses, signatures/consents, and our replies when you contact us.
- Payment and payout information. Billing contact details for clients; payout preferences for creators/clippers (e.g., Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or other instructions you provide). We use payment processors where applicable; we do not store full card numbers on our servers when a processor handles checkout.
- Campaign and content data. Campaign applications, submissions, clips, captions, metrics you report, brand guidelines you provide, and related campaign records.
- Events, polls, and programs. Registration and participation details for live Q&A, webinars, Best of Dallas ballots, surveys, and similar programs (which may include name, email, phone, and consent checkboxes).
B. Personal Information from Third-Party Sources
- Vendors and service providers. Hosting, authentication, analytics, email, and infrastructure partners (e.g., Google Firebase / Google Cloud, email delivery providers) may provide IP address, identifiers, and activity logs needed to operate the Services.
- Lead and prospect information. We may receive leads or contact details from partners or forms about people interested in our Services.
- Social and third-party platforms. If you link or reference social accounts, or engage with us on social media, we may receive information those platforms make available under their policies.
C. Information We Collect Automatically or Derive
- Device and browsing information. Cookies, pixels, visitor IDs, IP address, approximate location, browser/device type, language, timezone, screen size, referrer/UTMs, pages viewed, and timestamps — subject to your cookie consent choices where required.
- Activities and usage. Features used, links clicked, uploads, login events, and security/fraud monitoring signals to keep accounts and the platform safe.
3. Purposes of Collection and Use
A. Legal Bases (where applicable)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal information based on: performance of a contract; compliance with legal obligations; our legitimate interests (operating and securing the Services, preventing fraud/abuse, improving products, analytics, and business administration) that are not overridden by your rights; and consent where required (including certain cookies/marketing). You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based by contacting us or using the tools in this Policy.
B. Processing Purposes
- Provide Services and support — operate accounts, dashboards, campaigns, community features, payouts coordination, and customer support.
- Communicate with you — service notices, security alerts, onboarding, campaign updates, and (where allowed) surveys.
- Analytics and improvement — understand usage, fix bugs, train internal processes, and develop new features.
- Marketing and advertising measurement — newsletters and promotions when permitted; cookies/pixels for measurement and advertising when you allow marketing or “sell or share” categories.
- Security and rights protection — detect fraud, bots, abuse, unauthorized access, and enforce Terms.
- Legal compliance and business operations — accounting, recordkeeping, disputes, and corporate transactions (e.g., merger or asset transfer).
4. Disclosure of Information
We may disclose personal information as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and as directed or authorized by you, including to:
- Vendors and service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, auth, storage, email, analytics, payment processors).
- Campaign counterparties — e.g., businesses may see approved clipper/influencer submissions and limited profile info needed to run a campaign; creators may see campaign brand requirements you publish.
- Other users — community chat, announcements, or profile elements you choose to make visible within the Services.
- Advertising and measurement partners — when you consent to marketing cookies and/or sale/share of visitor data as described in our cookie banner and this Policy.
- Legal and safety — law enforcement, regulators, or others when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, investigate misuse, or comply with law.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, including during negotiations.
We do not sell account passwords or unrestricted dumps of account databases. Account content and campaign materials are used to operate the platform. Browser/visitor data may be sold or shared for advertising purposes only when you allow it — and you can opt out anytime via Do Not Sell or Share.
5. Aggregate and Non-identifiable Information
We may create and use aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified information for analytics, quality control, marketing, research, and product development. Where we maintain de-identified data, we will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law.
7. Your Privacy Choices
- Marketing emails. Opt out via the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting contact.dallasreeldeal@gmail.com. We may still send transactional/account messages.
- Cookies and targeted advertising. Use cookie preferences above and browser settings.
- Sale/share opt-out. Use the Do Not Sell or Share form below.
- Account information. Signed-in clippers and influencers can update profile, contact, and payout details in Settings inside the Dallas Clippers community dashboard. You may also email us to access, correct, or delete data.
Residents of certain jurisdictions have additional rights described in Section 15.
8. Information About Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us at contact.dallasreeldeal@gmail.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it. Additional age or parental rules may apply under our Terms for younger teens.
9. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Services may link to third-party sites (social platforms, payment apps, event links, etc.). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for those sites.
10. International Transfers
Dallas Reel Deal is based in the United States and uses service providers that may process data in the U.S. and other countries. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections with processors).
11. Security
We implement technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to our Services, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, access controls, and limited internal access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Protect your password and sign out of shared devices.
12. Retention
We retain personal information as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and context.
13. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
This Policy is current as of the Effective Date above. We may update it from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If changes materially affect our practices regarding personal information we already hold, we will endeavor to provide notice (e.g., email or a prominent site notice) where appropriate.

15. Additional Information for Individuals in Certain Jurisdictions
A. EU/EEA and UK Residents
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing; data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You also have rights related to automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects (we do not rely on such automated decisions as a core part of the Services). B. U.S. State Residents
Several U.S. states give residents rights that look similar to California’s. Where those laws apply to us, you may have rights to confirm processing, access a portable copy of personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete personal information, and opt out of sale, targeted advertising, and certain profiling — plus a right to appeal a denied request by emailing us.

We verify requests by matching information you provide with our records. Authorized agents may need to prove authority. Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals are treated as a sale/share opt-out where required (including California CPRA).

Sources: directly from you; your devices; service providers; social/third-party platforms you connect or engage with; and advertising/analytics partners when enabled.
Business/commercial purposes: as described in Section 3 (provide Services, communicate, analytics, marketing/ads measurement, security, legal compliance, operations).
Sale and sharing: We do not sell account credentials or unrestricted account databases for money. Under CCPA, “sale”/“share” can include disclosing certain identifiers and usage data to advertising or analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising when you allow those cookies/categories. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. You may opt out using the form below or by emailing us.
Sensitive personal information: We only use and disclose sensitive information as reasonably necessary to provide requested services, security, fraud prevention, quality/safety, legal compliance, and service providers acting on our behalf — not to infer characteristics beyond those purposes.
